My surf trip starts tomorrow and I have no idea what to expect. It’s wonderful and frightening all at once. I spent last night packing and trying to figure out what would be appropriate to bring along on this week-long water adventure. I’ve got about five bikinis packed. That should be enough, right? I have no idea if we will be surfing in wetsuits or not and if my bikinis are a good style to attempt surfing in, I’m hoping I’ll be spared of any awkward nip slips or unexpected mooning at the sunbathing vacationers on the beach.
Every time I am about to travel somewhere new and don’t know what it will be like, I find myself pondering what I am going to be thinking a week from now, when I am on my way back home. Will I be happy? Disappointed? Surprised? Will I come home thinking that this was the best thing I have done in my life thus far? And then, when I am on my way home from a trip, I consider how I felt before leaving. How the butterflies were stirring in my stomach and my mind was busy with “what ifs”.
I’ll be sure to type out my experiences from surf camp, so stay tuned to hear all about it upon my return!

I got this new bikini a few days ago, I love the colors!

Here’s all the bikis I’ve packed, three matching sets and two extra bottoms (one black and one purple) that can be matched with the other tops.

LdB Body Soufflé
I got these adorable body lotions from LdB today. They’re dubbed “Body Soufflé” and come in three lucious fragrances that will hit shops in August (they’ll be sold at Åhléns in Sweden, among other places). Each soufflé is neatly packed in a pretty box with a ribbon on top.
I opened up the one titled “Red Rose” to give it a wiff and although this particular fragrance was a little too strong for my liking I’m still going to give these cuties my thumbs up because I think they’re perfect as a gift to bring to a friend’s dinner party or to give your girlfriend for her birthday. They’re set to be priced around 89 SEK.

This is what is hiding inside the cute package.

Last night was fantastic! Most of all because my favorite girl in the world is finally home! I’m never as happy as I am when I party it up with my homegirl!
We met up and had a quick drink at Ljunggren before meeting the production team that were going to film us “going out to party”. It turned out to be such a blast! Bella and I kept cracking up! Afterwards we decided it was high time to celebrate our fame with a drink so we headed to Mosebacke where a friend of my brother’s happened to be working in the bar (yay cheap drinks). We sat and talked for a couple of hours and enjoyed the warm evening and beautiful view. Ah, I love Stockholm in the summertime!

Ready to do the night!

The stylist put my hair in this bun to make me look older. Haha! Bella and I laughed a lot about my “business look”.

A mojito-like drink at Mosebacke after filming!

I got a new book this weekend to read on my vaction (surf trip). It’s always good to have a good read for the flight if nothing else. The Time Traveler’s Wife is the book I mentioned a couple of posts back, that’s now been made into a movie starring Rachel McAdams, among others.
I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about this book and the woman at the bookstore lit up like a shining star when I asked for The Time Traveler’s Wife and mentioned it’s been made into a movie, this seemed to thrill her as she said “It’s been made into a movie?! I love it, it’s my favorite book!”
And speaking of good books – I just finished reading the Swedish book Let the Right One In by Johan Ajvide Lindqvist (Swedish title: Låt den rätte komma in) which was really good! It’s a horror story about a vampire (no, nothing like the Twilight-series). It was made into a movie last year as well, but I have yet to see it. My brother saw it and says it’s good, but after seeing the trailer I wonder if it can possibly be as good as the book was..?

Had an iced coffee with my sister, mom, brother and his girlfriend this evening while fighting off little banana flies (or some kind of random mini-flies) that insisted on pestering my sister and I. Got home to enjoy some Ben&Jerry’s Half Baked (crack disguised as ice cream) while watching The 40 Year Old Virgin, sweet movie. Now it’s time for bed because tomorrow is a new day full of fun and exciting new things. Among other things on my schedule, I’m going to go get my photos taken for a cating and production company. Oh yeah.
Wednesday is looking even sweeter. My best friend is coming home (and will be home for the summer, tripple yay) and I’ve just been asked to be in another movie/documentary production on Wednesday evening! Following filming there will definitely be some partying with miss homegirl!
Goodnight peeps!

Sorry I went a little MIA there for a few days. Things have been quite busy since I last updated with the fabulous news about my surf trip! Only a few days left now before I leave and I’m definitely getting nervous! Not only am I busy fixing and preparing for the trip, last Wendesday I had the time of my life on set of a famous Swedish TV show with actors Leonard Terfelt and Michael Persbrant. It was so much fun! I can’t tell you what it was about because it’s secret up until the episode airs some time in December this year. Haha!
This Wednesday I’m doing another tv show/documentary that involves some partying. It should be a blast. And tomorrow I need to go and get headshots done at a casting and production company plus I’ve got a meeting. Somewhere between all of this I need to find the time to pack, and do all the other little neccessary things before heading off for a week of surfing.
Wish me luck!

I have mentioned it so many times my friends and family are probably sick of hearing me yak about it. Well, this it is! My trip is booked and in two weeks I will be in France living in a house with a group of surf enthusiasts enjoying sunshine, waves and surfing during the day and partying and funtimes during the night.
I have finally booked my dream vacation! I’m going to surfcamp!
Words cannot describe how excited I am right now! This is something I have wanted to do forever and I finally decided it’s time.

Mmm, shoes…
H&Ms new designer collaboration is none other than shoe and accessory experts Jimmy Choo! It’s the first time H&M will be collaborating with an accessory designer and the collection will include both mens and womens fashion as well as a line of clothing. This will also be the debut for Jimmy Choo as clothing designers. The line is scheduled to hit 200 H&M stores this fall!

I was about to say it’s pooey weather here again today but that would be a lie! For once it’s actually nice weather! Still ridic chilly but hay, at least the sun is out! Just in time for the better weather I seem to be coming down with a cold though. Figures, ey? I woke up with a sore throat yesterday morning and had a headache all day, today is the same.
