Miranda Kerr is definitely one of the most gorgeous models I have ever come across. Granted she’s not a high fashion model but she’s stunning nonetheless. The 25-year-old is most famous for being one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels and lately she’s also recieved a lot of media coverage because she is dating famous actor Orlando Bloom.

This morning my sister and mom surprised me with a beautiful birthday breakfast. I had asked for what I call a “french breakfast” including lovely things like croissants and nutella. Look what a beautiful plethora of goodies they put together for me!
The breakfast buffet included plain and chocolate croissants, fruit salad, orange juice, nutella, jam, champagne, a cappucino my sister made and a pile of gifts!
Dessert was this chocolate cake I actually made myself yesterday! It’s a two layer cake with a blueberry and raspberry middle layer covered in a cream cheese chocolate frosting and topped with crushed hazelnuts. Yum!
I got this beautiful bowl from my mom, I eat fruit salad every morning so this is perfect for my breakfast. I love it!
I also got this stunning mug from my mom. Isn’t it just goregeous? I absolutely LOVE it! Aside from my fruit salad I always drink a cup of green tea for breakfast so this is perfect. The cup is huge! Thanks mom, I love you!
And this is me now. Stuck with a cold in front of my computer and ready to do a some work. My music is playing (right now: Coldplay – Clocks) and I’ve got a big glass of orange juice beside me to cure my cold. Let it be gone!
It’s my birthday today and I am up at 7am in the morning. Why? Because I have a cold! Not a preferred state of health on my birthday but what am I going to do? I have been woken up several times during the night because of a stuffed nose and headache that just won’t let up. Cross your fingers it gets better by this evening so that I can go and have a drink with my frineds!
I’ll try to get as many pictures of my “celebration” as possible to show you all later.

Rachel McAdams is on the cover of the september issue of T Magazine. Black lipstick is predicted to be one of falls trends after being seen on the runway of YSL among others. I’m very sceptic towards the trend and doubt I’ll be trying my hand at it. It’s too dark and is probably (at least in my case) best left only to be used for one occassion – Halloween. That said, I think T Magazine makeup artists did well with Rachel dark look.
Will you be sporting black lipstick this fall?
It’s hard to believe that Taylor Momsen just turned 15 years old. It’s kind of frightening how young Hollywood starlets tend to look almost twice their age these days. I was slightly shocked when I saw this photo of the Momsen at the Henri Bendel and YSL Beauté celebration of Gossip Girl season 2. Although I love the look I can’t help but dislike the fact that it makes Momsen look like she’s in her twenties.

I am a slight sunglass-fanatic. Along with shoes and bags I can always find a pair of sunglasses I absolutely love. Carrera Vintage have released a couple of new styles in ew colors and I am intrigued. The blue ones (bottom right) are quite similar to my pink sunnies from Jeepers Peepers. What do you think of Carrera Vintage?

My 21st birthday is on Wednesday, but because my best friend won’t be here on my birthday we had a little pre-birthday party on thursday evening. I had a great night!
Before we went out. I wore a black sequin dress and a vintage necklace.

I always keep my eyes open for new or slightly unknown brands. There are a ton of great brands from Australia and not to mention the US that aren’t as well known around Europe. Today I came across INSIGHT. Check them out!
They just aired the Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton documentary on TV. During the hour-long description of the designer I was absolutely hypnotized. Jacobs has always been one of my favorite designers and to see him at work in this behind-the-scenes documentary was truly fascinating!
My birthday is on wednesday and my wishlist has already been distributed to the appropriate people but I’d like to take this opportunity to publicly add Loïc Prigent’s documentary about Marc Jacobs to my list. Anyone?
