Standing in the dressing room at Beyond Retro in Stockholm I couldn’t make up my mind. I loved this jacket but couldn’t decide if it was worth the price and if I would be able to pair it with anything in my closet.
I wound up buying it. With a little convincing from the slaes assistant, of course. Isn’t it fabulous? I love it!
A closeup of the great details!
This mark is on both upper sleeves.

Ah, Robert Pattinson. The man responsible for every girls major crush since the premiere of Twilight.
I finally saw the movie last night with my best friend and before even setting foot in the cinema I knew I would have a headache by the time the credits rolled. And I did. My best friend, Bella (yes, just like Bella Swan in the movie), and I could hardly sit still each time Robert Pattison, er, sorry… Edward would smirk, stare intently with those golden eyes or flex some muscle.
Mmm…

Here’s some of the fun stuff I got for Christmas. Such great gifts!
The Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume I have wanted for so long! How cute is this?! It comes with a refill!
I asked for magazines because I miss all the Swedish and international magazines when I’m in Prague. There I can almost only get hold of the Czech versions of the magazines. I’m bound to buy yet another big load of magazines soon though!
Cute cupcake-forms! Check out the leopard print ones! I love them! These will be saved for extra special occassions only!
My sister got me fabulous underwear from Topshop!
What did you get?

I decorated the Christmas tree yesterday. Here’s the obliatory before and after shots!
A detail shot of one of our pretty old ornaments.
Here’s the lights in our kitchen window.
After decorating the tree mom, sis and I had some traditional Swedish “Glögg”. This one has a new twist to it though – it’s got a hint of chocolate in it! Glögg is a hot wine drunk during the holiday season and traditionally you add raisins and almonds to your cup of “Glögg”.

A couple of colds and a bad cough that wouldn’t go away for three weeks while I was in Prague. But other than that, nothing too serious luckily.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is airing on Swedish TV on Christmas eve!
I’m finally home in Sweden again!
I had a funny experience in the airport today, sort of like in a movie scene. My luggage weighed too much so the guy at the check-in asked me to try to put some of my packing over in to my carry-on. After trying to put as much as possible over to my carry-on I was still hitting 3,8kg over the limit! Slightly frustrated and feeling a little bit stressed out I asked the guy how much the overweight would cost me. It was much more than I had bargained for but I wasn’t about to give up my high heels and Marc Jacobs bag! I told him I’d just have to pay as there was nothing I could do and then the unimaginable happened – he said: “It’s okay. Consider it an early Christmas present from me.” Wait a minute, rewind, did that just happen? I was so surprised that I didn’t think I heard him right. He hands me my ticket and then points to the bag dangling on my arm and asks if it is my carry-on. “Yes, this… and this” I say showing him my laptop bag. “Ah, I see… okay, my second early Christmas present for you.” he says. I gushed out “Thank you so much!” and gave him a big smile. I should have jumped up and given him a “Christmas kiss”!
So, a big shout out to the guy at the check-in for Czech Airlines at Ruzyne Airport in Prague! Thank you!
My first day at home has been spent with my mom and sister plus calling to talk to some friends. I also watched some TV, it’s one of the many things I have missed from home. My roomates and I have a TV but we don’t have any channels so we rely on DVD:s, but it’s just not the same as zapping through random junk on the tube.
Tomorrow I’m meeting my friend M, she’s coming over with her dog and we’re going to go for a long walk to catch up on everything that has been happening the past couple of months. From the little preview I got during our phone call today I can tell there will be a lot to talk about tomorrow.

Our beauty editor, Daria, had a beauty giveaway at work today. All the girls gathered around a table of items that were being given away. It was like an early Christmas.
I grapped “Seriously Straight” from Tigi, it’s a hairspray that is supposed to make your hair straight. A pale pink nailpolish from Estée Lauder, that is going on my nails and toes now! A glitter body lotion from The Body Shop that smells like cranberries and a lip balm from The Body Shop that has a nice and fresh smell of mint.
