How cool is this? – Lady Gaga’s new video for her song Paparazzi has been created with the help of a couple of Swedes! Jonas Åkerlund is the producer and Alexander Skarsgård is in the video. Gaga is even speaking Swedish in it! Check it out at Perez Hilton’s blog.

Remember back in 2007 when Anya Hindmarch designed an organic tote with the message “I’m not a plastic bag” splashed across the front? It sold for just £5 and people went crazy to get their hands on one.
Fast forward two years and Sweden may see a similar event soon to take place. The Swedish grocery store chain ICA have asked the designers behind Dagmar to create an organic tote to encourage the use of re-usable bags instead of plastic bags.
The bag will hit ICA-stores in August this year in a limited edition of 70,000 bags. The price is set to 89 SEK (69 SEK for ICA-members) and 12,50 SEK of each sale will go WWF’s work in improving our climate.
I always carry with me my re-usable bags in my purse so that I never have to buy or use plastic bags. These are fantastic and people often ask where I’ve got them! The brown I got from the people at Purebar, the red one was a gift and the small white with black text I got a long time ago at an event, it’s by Les Coleurs Nationales.

The Deportees at Riche in Stockholm
I know I just mentioned The Deportees in my last post, but…
Last night my sister and I attended the album release party for The Deportees at Riche in Stockholm. The place was so packed I was struggling to clap my hands after their fantastic performance. A famous Swedish TV- and radio-personality happened to be standing in the bar and offered to take some photos for me from where he was standing, nice guy! The above photo is courtesy of him. The Deportees performed four of their songs in a small acoustic concert. I can’t choose a favorite track off their new album, all the songs are great!

I love the chunky boots from the a/w 09 collection from Acne I instantly got stuck on them when I first saw the collection. I love the chunky-ness, wedge heel and metal details. I can’t wait to check them out when they hit stores this fall. In store right now are a lot of nice pieces and looks from the s/s 2009 collection though, I’m loving the dark kind of punk-ish looks and the sandals are great!

I rarely ware a watch, I rely on my cell phone to tell me what time it is when I am on the run. I find it hard to find a watch that suits me. This one from Marc by Marc Jacobs is definitely a candidate for me though, with the cute little clasp closed over the clock it looks like a chunky and stylish bracelet, and the sleek black color and gold-tinted hardware is gorgeous!

There’s no denying that Robert Pattinson (star of the Twilight movies) is a catch, but how much would you be willing to pay for a meet-and-greet and a kiss on the cheek? Apparently, some would dish out a lot.
Pattinson offered himself up for auction at the amfAR Cinema against AIDS fund and the battle to get a close encounter with the hottie ended with two bidders offering twenty-thousand-dollars each!
