After breakfast, the mail came…

I got the schedule for the second part of Stockholm Fashion Week (SS 2010 shows)

I’ve already sent my RSVP to one of the events.

I got dressed and put my hair up in a ponytail, I’m having a bad hair day.

I went to the library to find a new book to read, but also found Johnny Depp (in the latest issue of DV Man)

And my favorite Nylon magazine

As always I was loving the graphics in Nylon.
I spent a couple of hours reading magazines and books at the library. The local library is really good, they’ve got comfy chairs, free wireless internet and a nice selection of books and magazines. I read DV Man, British Vogue and Nylon. And I also flipped through some French books and borrowed one to start practicing my French.
What have you done today?

Bonjour mes amis! So, I had a really hard time sleeping last night, I have no idea why. It was extremely frustrating! I hate lying in bed and tossing and turning, trying every method to fall asleep but nothing works! I think I finally fell asleep for about an hour or two before waking up around 6am and not being able to fall asleep again. I finally just gave up and got up.
For breakfast this morning I ran down to the local bakery and bought a fresh baguette. I love having a special “weekend breakfast” every once in a while. I try to imagine that I am in France as I eat baguette, which kind of hard considering the baguette is nothing like the real French ones. I’m totally stuffed now though! Haha…
The picture above is actually from last Friday morning when I also had fresh picked Swedish blueberries in my yoghurt! Ah, lovely!

Public Enemies was pretty much only good for one reason – Johnny Depp was in it. I’ll see a Johnny Depp movie any day. I agree with some of the critics though that have said he was wrongly cast in this movie. It just wasn’t a Depp kind of movie.
Not like it needs to be mentioned, but it is unbelieveable how handsome Johnny Depp is, no matter what character he plays or what look he’s styling. I mean, it was love at first sight for me when I, at somewhere around eight years old, saw Edward Scissorhands. The man had scissors and knives for hands, scars all over his face and hadn’t seen sunlight in a decade and yet, I died.
Who is your favorite actor?

The girl at Wayne’s made a heart in my latte!
My brother and I ended up at Wayne’s Coffee on Götgatan. I hadn’t seen him since before I went on my surf trip so we had some catching up to do. It’s always nice going for coffee with him because it gives me a chance to ask for his advice on anything from boys to what I should do with my future or whatever. And although my brother can sometimes be really tough on me, I really love him and value his advice. I know he’s always there for me and ever since I was a kid he’s looked out for me. He has dissaproved of guys I am dating many times – only to be right! It’s nice to know he wants the best for me and is sure to let me know he’ll beat up any guy who doesn’t treat me right.
Now I’m off to go see Public Enemies with my BFF Bella!

I’m heading in to town soon to meet my brother for coffee and on this evening’s agenda is the movie Public Enemies (with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale) with my best friend Bella! I hope the movie is good, I’ve just recently heard it’s not all that great though.
Have you seen Public Enemies, what did you think?

I can’t wait to see Alice in Wonderland! Tim Burton is a genius and Johnny Depp is not only a brilliant actor but (as we all know) serious eye candy too, so there’s just no reason not to see this movie. Check out the trailer!
Are you going to go see Alice in Wonderland?

I’m off to run around town again today. I finally got hold of the last showroom (apparently their phone wasn’t working yesterday), so I’m going by there to drop off the clothes today before going to a shop to get some prices of things I used in the photo shoot and then running some other errands. Might top my day off with another ice latte somewhere, I really enjoyed spending some time writing and working yesterday at Wayne’s.
What are your plans for today?

I love being creative and ever since I was little I’ve loved making scrapbooks and collages. I’ve got two big scrapbooks right now that I’ve filled with photos from some of my travels and a ton of various notes, cards and beautiful photos that make me happy.
The other day I developed a bunch of photos from my surf trip and also a lot of photos from my time in Prague. They’re all going in new scrapbooks now. I want one that I can dedicate only to my surfing and other adventures I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I want to put my Prague photos in a separate scrapbook since they don’t mix with my surf memories.

Cards and keepsakes from a trip to Castres, France in High School.

I got up early this morning to go and meet Nina at the office, she’d offered to help me haul all of the clothes I’d borrowed back to the showrooms, thank goodness that I had her help! It only took about an hour for the two of us to get most of the stuff back and then I headed to the last showroom with the final (and probably heaviest) bag.
For some odd and unfortunate reason the showroom assistants weren’t in at the last office, so I went to Wayne’s to grab an ice coffee latte while continuing to try to get hold of them. I ended up spending about two hours at Wayne’s reading the newspaper and doing some work while waiting. I never did get hold of the showroom so I’ll have to bring them back another day.

Snapped a quick photo of part of my outfit today in a dusty mirror.
(Banana Republic blouse, Monki jacket, Forever21 and vintage necklace, FCUK bag and black jeans from Cheap Monday)

The hella heavy bags of clothes I wasn’t able to return today – how ’bout I just get to keep them?

Iced coffee latte at Waynes with work and today’s newspaper.

On my way home I stopped by an organic and health food store to get my favorite tea. I haven’t tried this flavor (Bengal Spice) before!

Sorry I went missing for a couple of days! I’ve been supah busy with the photo shoot we did yesterday. We were at it all day and had a great time. I’ve only seen the rough photos but it looks good! Miss photographer Nina did an awesome job and so did the models! We had a fun day and I cannot wait to go through the photos with Nina some time either this week or next.
I can’t show you much yet but I can tell you that I had my videocamera along and got some action shots, so eventually I’ll be able to show you some behind the scenes footage! For now, here are some photos of Nina doing her thing!
