Oscars 2011 red carpet trend
A trend on the red carpet at this year’s Oscars was definitely sparkly, glittery and creamy whites. I loved all of the above dresses, the Monique Lhuillier dress that Mandy Moore wore is stunning as is the Calvin Klein Collection dress Gweneth Paltrow chose. Michelle Williams is so cute in her little pixie haircut and sleek and sparkly white dress.

Exactly my thought! There was very, VERY little color on the red carpet this year and overall I felt it was quite a disappointment this year too. The only color that a few of the stars (Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock and Penelope Cruz) wore was red (which is such a staple and is always worn by someone for the Oscars it seems). I would have liked to see a bold blue, yellow, green or pink!
