Mary Katrantzou for Topshop, take three

Peek in my wardrobe and you won’t find much color, and yet there’s something about garments that look like they’ve been hit with a paintball gun that fascinate me and pull me in. Like Mary Katrantzou, known for her tailored silhouettes in wildly colorful patterns.
Her third collaboration with Topshop was just unveiled, and this time she says it’s more ambitious than ever before. “My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that is as close to the aesthetic of my mainline as possible, with great control over the quality of design and production.” Katrantzou told Vogue UK.
The collection includes ten pieces and is more expensive than any of Katrantzou’s previous collaborations with Topshop, prices range from £40 for leggings to £350 for one of the short dresses.
The pieces might not be something for everyday wear, especially not at that price, but if you’re looking to stick out at a cocktail party and be its conversation starter you know where to shop.
