A glass at Scandic Malmen

Good Friday (or Långfredagen as it’s called in Swedish, which means “long Friday”) is a rather boring day. There’s not much going on, most people have fled town to go and spend Easter with their relatives in other cities, and a lot of shops are closed because it’s a holiday.
I spent most of the day yesterday indoors because it was snowing buckets outside. I had a long list of to do’s but ended up procrastinating most of the day. My rescue from a dreadfully uneventful day came in the evening when I texted my sister and asked if she’d like to meet for a glass of wine. We met at Scandic Malmen and caught up on what’s been up in each of our lives lately. I love spontaneous little meetups like that.
