The peplum

The peplum seems such a fitting trend for spring and summer, with the wavy details undeniably reminiscent of a flower. Seen on the spring and summer runways of Marc by Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang and Jason Wu (among others). The trend has completely exploded and is absolutely everywhere in stores. A simple search of peplum on ASOS.com currently brings up 198 items, so if you’re out to get your hands on the trend you shouldn’t have a hard time finding it.

I do like the peplum look but I’m still yet to try it on. Even if it does look nice (probably a 10% chance since I hate attention to my waist), I’m afraid the trend will be over as soon as I buy something!
