My friend’s personal stylist

Photos: US magazine

The photos from the fashion shoot looked great! Nina and I picked out the best ones and I so wish I could show you guys the photos right now, but I can’t until the magazine is out this fall.

This afternoon I met Malin for some catching up since we hadn’t seen each other in ages! I’d like to dedicate the photo of Robert Pattinson above to her because, along with the rest of the world, she’s fallen head over heels for him. She’s even got herself a “Team Edward”-shirt (which she has promised me she will not be wearing in public).

Malin has dubbed me her personal stylist so this weekend we’re doing some shopping. I have to say though, despite the “Team Edward”-shirt, Malin does a good job styling herself!

This evening my brother and his best friend came over for dinner and my brother claimed he could open a bottle of beer with just about any object – even a folded up piece of paper! Of course we asked him to prove it – fail! In his defence he said he’d seen it done on YouTube (well then!)

Alright, it’s about time for me to hit the sack and read a couple of pages in my book (The Woman in the Fifth by Douglas Kennedy). Okay, lie, I’m already curled up in bed!

Tomorrow is a new day to appreciate.

I love being creative and ever since I was little I’ve loved making scrapbooks and collages. I’ve got two big scrapbooks right now that I’ve filled with photos from some of my travels and a ton of various notes, cards and beautiful photos that make me happy.

The other day I developed a bunch of photos from my surf trip and also a lot of photos from my time in Prague. They’re all going in new scrapbooks now. I want one that I can dedicate only to my surfing and other adventures I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I want to put my Prague photos in a separate scrapbook since they don’t mix with my surf memories.

Cards and keepsakes from a trip to Castres, France in High School.

Inspiration collage and a note from a friend

How do you keep your memories?

Wet and Wild. i-D August 2009
thefashionspot.com

I was doing some research for an upcoming photo shoot when I came across this (completely unrelated) editorial from the August 2009 issue of i-D. I think it’s quite cute and funny. It reminds me of a photo shoot I did a few years ago where we incorporated cartoon-pieces into the photos.
