I stopped by a PR office today after work to pick up some clothes for the photo shoot on Sunday. I found a ton of pretty dresses and tops from Lipsy that I borroed. I love that they’re all within a reasonable price range and all the clothing is made with “real” materials – real silk, chiffon, leather etc. None of the fake plastic stuff.
After browsing Lispy.co.uk I’ve found a bunch of great dresses I’d love to shop for myself. A New Years Eve dress perhaps? Many of the items are very Balmain-inspired, I love it!

Every girl has one. Their “joker”, or “free card”. A guy (celebrity) that you are allowed to cheat on your boyfriend with, provided you get the chance, because it’s a once in a lifetime chance and turning down the offer would be foolish. You get the picture.
Mine has probably always been Johnny Depp (I don’t care what you say, that man is and will always be hot! Regardless of his age!) But right now I’m leaning towards Emile Hirsch too, who I mentioned in a post a couple of days ago. Would it be greedy of me to have two “free cards”? I mean, look at him (above)! I die.

Johnny Depp would probably be the last person to care if he’s on the best- or worst dressed lists. He’s famous for ignoring one of the most popular questions on the red carpet - Who are you wearing? He wears what he likes and doesn’t care about brand names, flashy fashion houses or stamps of approval. And he’s the sexiest dressed guy I know of.
I love the bundles of bracelets, the bandanas, the hats, the rings, the sloppy dressing and this… je ne sais quoi, like he’s got up in the morning and hung all his treasures on his body. Like, for example, the colorful plastic beaded bracelets and necklaces that his children have made for him (that he wears to red carpet events).
Style is not only what you wear, it’s how you wear it. Style is self-confidence and the abilty to wear what you like because you like it, not because someone is telling you to like it.
So guys, when you ask me how I think you should dress… Now you know.
Several years ago I came across a jewelry designer named Tarina Tarantino, and I still stop by her website from time to time to check out what new items are hot right now. Her pieces are fun, quirky and unique, they’ll definitely spice up an outfit! Right now I am loving the cute headbands, above.

I was doing some research for an upcoming photo shoot when I came across this (completely unrelated) editorial from the August 2009 issue of i-D. I think it’s quite cute and funny. It reminds me of a photo shoot I did a few years ago where we incorporated cartoon-pieces into the photos.

In the summertime (when the weather is hot…) one of the most comfortable and easy pieces to wear are shorts. They’re nice and breezy and can be both dressed up and down depending on what you pair them with.
I definitely live in my shorts during the summer and chic fashionistas like Olivia Palermo and Lauren Conrad seem to as well! Draw inspiration from these sassy girls and their cute outfits, see how easy it is to make it look more dressy? Pair a clean short with a blouse, accessories and a pair of heels and you’re set to hit the clubs!

I caught this on MTV yesterday – Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart accepting the award for best kiss at the MTV Movie Awards 2009. I could hear the audience holding their breath as they thought they’d get to see that famous kiss again. Poor Pattinson was left hanging. I’d never do that to you Pattz!
