Brace yourselves, this is a bunch of random
Oh hi.
Haven’t blogged in a while. So this is a compilation of a bunch of good things. Like music, movies, quotes, and photos.
Here’s a sick cover:
Wildfire // JENI // SBTRKT ft. Drake & Little Dragon
Expectation is the root of all heartache. – Shakespeare
Good movie lately: The Silver Linings Playbook
Spring is (sort of) here. Logically, that means summer is just around the corner. Which makes being spontaneous and a little crazy so much easier. Like skinny dipping at 11.23pm.
- You wanna hear a joke?
– Sure.
– The way you treat me.
Good music lately:
James Blake {Retrograde}
Sbtrkt {Right thing to do ft. Jessie Ware}
Majestee of Sweden {Govenor}
Gnucci {Oh My Goodness!}
Hurts {Blind - live from Spotify Stockholm is the best version}
Rudimental {Powerless ft. Becky Hill}
Passenger {Let her go}
Maria Mena {Fuck you}
Mikky Ekko {Who are you, really?}
Also, I need a nickname. Hit me with your suggestions.
Men’s Style
Yesterday, I saw a guy on the subway who was wearing such an awesome outfit. Trying to describe it wouldn’t do it justice, but it was edgy, different, accessorized, and topped off with sunglasses (yes, he was wearing them in the subway, which is a little cheesy, but the shades really complimented his outfit so I’ll let it slide). He stuck out and I couldn’t help but try to discreetly identify the different components of his outfit as I stood across from him.
A couple of months ago, I was randomly invited to pin to a board titled Men’s Style on Pinterest. Pinterest has been a favorite procrastination of mine for years now, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s addicted. Above are a couple of my favorite Men’s Style-looks. Some casual, and some more dressy.
DIY: Skull bracelet

Here’s another little DIY bracelet I made recently. You may have seen similar bracelets… everywhere. Accessories with these skull beads are quite popular right now, and I’m seeing them all over the place.
A lot of the time when I see something I like (like a piece of jewelry for instance), I think “I could make that”. Making it myself is swag because 1. I can form it however I want. 2. It’s cheaper 3. I can impress people by telling them I made it.
I found these skull beads at a craft shop and made a macrame knot bracelet using some thin black rope I had on hand. I have some ideas for how I’m going to use the rest of the beads.
DIY Armswag

You know what being done with my first year at Uni means? I have time to do fun stuff like this!
I’ve been cooking up a crafty little storm lately. Being the passionate little craftswoman that I am I see potential in the oddest of things. I’ve had these gold chains saved for… years? They’re from an old bag and an old dress. I’ve had this project in the back of my mind forever but with Uni taking up all of my time there just hasn’t been a moment to spare for my crafty affairs.
After going a bit nuts in the embroidery thread department, carefully selecting a color combination, I whipped up this fabulously chunky color pop of a bracelet. Keep your eyes peeled, I’ve got a bunch more DIY projects in the works.
Tempted? You want one?
